As a young boy, Elvis Joseph watched movies on a Baghdad rooftop with his uncles. It was here that a dream was sparked in him and never left.Several years ago he discovered by chance, the acclaimed author and poet G. K. Chesterton also known as the ‘Prince of Paradox’. It was a pivotal moment moving him toward a new chapter in his life. Filled with allegory, wit, and fantastical adventures that resonated with Elvis, he knew these stories would be a part of his film-making dream. And so the production company Rooftop Seven was born.

Cofounder, Writer, Director
Elvis Joseph is a filmmaker with a lifelong passion for storytelling. He began his career in makeup for screen and theatre, and he quickly developed a keen eye for lighting and composition. He then worked as a photographer, taking headshots for actors and models and honing his craft of visual storytelling.
Elvis's desire to direct led him to take on a variety of roles in the film industry, from crew to managing actors and 1st assistant director. He sought to draw as much experience as he could from small to major productions, to gain an understanding of the workings of every department.
Since 2001, Elvis has been mentored by Tony Wickert, a respected director and producer. Under Tony's guidance, Elvis has developed his skills as a writer and director. In 2011, Elvis co-founded the independent production company Rooftop Seven with his wife Heather.
Elvis's first feature film, Magic, was released in 2021. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it earned several AACTA nominations. Elvis is currently developing several new projects, and he is excited to continue his journey as a filmmaker.

Heather is a successful businesswoman and filmmaker with over 30 years of experience in the industry. She has a passion for storytelling and a commitment to excellence. She is known for her ability to bring together talented teams and create films that are both entertaining and thought-provoking.
Heather began her career as a hair and makeup artist, quickly establishing herself as a respected professional. She also worked as a producer on numerous photo shoots and managed an extras agency. In 1997, she founded an actors agency that she successfully ran for over 10 years.
In 2011, Heather co-founded Rooftop Seven with her husband, Elvis. Rooftop Seven is a film production company that is dedicated to developing and producing high-quality films. Heather serves as the producer on Rooftop Seven's projects.
Heather is a passionate and dedicated producer with a proven track record of success. She is a valuable asset to any film project, and she is sure to continue to make her mark on the industry in the years to come.
